MISSION STATEMENT

"We dedicate SALON MARCHI DAY SPA to the wellness and true beauty of humankind." It is our intent to provide a calm, unhurried, relaxing environment of healing and self-nurturing. An atmosphere that encourages learning toward self-awareness. A center where you can receive services that stimulate your sense of self-worth. A place to "Bring Forth Your Inner Beauty." We do this with respect for the environment, by using products with pure plant ingredients (organically grown whenever possible) and doing our part to recycle and reuse.

OUR HISTORY

Mary Marchi Hirby established Salon Marchi in 1962 giving her business her maiden name. Tecla Hirby Powell has been carrying forth what her mother began since 1981. Growing with the industry Salon Marchi was first a “Full Concept Salon”, then became a “Day Spa” in 1995. Salon Marchi Day Spa now serves over 3500 visitors yearly drawing from the communities of Piqua, Troy, Sidney, Greenville and surrounding areas.

Salon Marchi Day Spa is housed at 1115 Park Avenue, Piqua, Ohio in a home built by Stanislas Roy —Medal of Honor Winner who survived Little Big Horn. Current Owners Charles and Tecla Powell have renovated the building and grounds to create an inviting and relaxing space. People often remark on the feeling of “peace” upon entering the parking lot. Inside the Day Spa the atmosphere is welcoming, calm and serene with soothing music.

We offer a comprehensive array of salon services including design consultation, stress relieving treatments, hair styling, hair cutting, permanent waving, hair color, highlighting, facials, skin care consultations, cosmetic makeovers, manicures and pedicures.
